As part of a community festival, teen boys from the Let Me Run program and their coaches warming up with Charlotte Knights mascot Homer before their 5K race. This annual non-profit event combined a 5K run, a fun-walk and a healthy living festival complete with entertainment, family activities and an awards ceremony. As part of the healthy living festival, local exercise and sports companies came out to show participants quick and easy exercises they could do at home. An outdoor festival on Charlotte’s Cultural Mile in the heart of Uptown. An annual festival for the families of employees and clients. A celebrity kickball tournament held at the BB&T Ballpark. Hugo, the Charlotte Hornets mascot, entertained attendees during a celebrity kickball tournament. All smiles for the champions at this annual outdoor tournament. Children enjoyed face painting along with other activities at a family-friendly outdoor festival. Family-friendly activities including a ferris wheel took over a parking lot for a corporation's outdoor festival.

Some people are afraid of outdoor events, but not us – we have a deal with Mother Nature. Sure, venues are cool, but there’s nothing like having a dinner for 700 people in the middle of a street surrounded by high-rises.
