Doing a traditional ribbon didn’t seem very fun – so we created a “chain” ribbon utilizing graphics from the organization’s logo. Podiums don’t have to just be wooden or acrylic with a podium sign. Here we made the graphic into the podium. It looked great on camera! This unique ribbon-cutting concept created a striking photo opportunity for press. Upon declaration that the new building was open, nine ribbons unfurled from the ceiling for key leaders and community VIPs to cut. The cutting of a branded ribbon marked the grand opening of a North American headquarters. To show the artistic talent at Wofford University, current students performed their work live for guests to enjoy at a grand opening. Dessert transformed into art was a focal point at the grand opening of an art building. To commemorate the grand opening of an art building, guests signed a giant blueprint of the building as the departed.

These traditionally boring ceremonies need a fresh new perspective. We want the media to shout about our events, so they must look impressive on camera. When an event is strategically branded, and all the technical aspects are managed, (Hey, is this mic on?) a great experience is guaranteed. Forget everything you know about giant red ribbons and oversized scissors. We’ll bring live elephants and baby tigers, if that’s what it takes. Seriously, we’ve done that.
